Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the Congress, is expected to speak at a public rally in Jhunjhunu as part of the party’s campaign schedule in the state, which is headed toward elections on November 25. The AICC chief is scheduled to visit Ardawata, where she will unveil a statue of former Union minister Sisram Ola and address a group that includes senior leaders and state chief minister Ashok Gehlot. CM Gehlot stated earlier on Tuesday that Priyanka will make significant announcements for Rajasthan’s stay-at-home moms.
Gehlot posted on the social media platform X, “Special information for the women of Rajasthan- Tomorrow Priyanka Gandhi will make some big announcements for the housewives of Rajasthan at 12:30 pm in Jhunjhunu.” In just one week, the Congress leader will make his second trip to Rajasthan before the state’s elections next month. She gave the keynote address at a Dausa public rally earlier on Friday of last week. She emphasized throughout her speech that the Gehlot administration has served the interests of the state’s citizens.
“There is a Congress government in your state… If you see the journey of the last five years, you can say that the Rajasthan Congress tried to make the journey of your life easier… The leaders who truly want that state and country should go forward, they do not look only at themselves they look for what is good for people,” Priyanka said.
Lashing out at the Bharatiya Janata Party, she said that leaders of the party, in opposition here, work for themselves and their industrialist friends.
