Congress’ 1st guarantee is 30L govt jobs: Rahul

Rahul Gandhi’s “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” once again arrived in the state and held a public meeting in Banswara, where Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge was also present.

Gandhi promised a legal guarantee on minimum support price for crops, social security for gig workers, and a Rs 5,000 crore fund for startups, among other things.
Rahul announced that the Congress Party committed to creating 30 lakh jobs within the central government as his first guarantee. He outlined a structured timeline through a released calendar for the recruitment process to be completed efficiently.

Additionally, he assured the implementation of a new Apprenticeship Rights Act, ensuring one-year training for every diploma holder or college graduate in both public and private sector companies. Trainees will receive Rs 1 lakh, approximately Rs 8,500 per month.
Furthermore, Rahul addressed the serious issue of paper leaks affecting the youth, vowing that Congress would enact new legislation to prevent any collusion or conspiracy in public examinations, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and fairness. He emphasized the party’s determination to eradicate paper leaks, which currently jeopardize the futures of millions of young people.

Assured guarantee of social security
At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said regarding the gig economy that Congress guarantees to bring laws to ensure better working conditions and social security for lakhs of youth looking for employment every year.

He also said that Congress will create a fund of Rs 5,000 crore with the facility of allocation to all the districts of the country for five years. Under this, the youth below 40 years of age can avail of start-up funding for their business in any field.
Described the past decade as a time of injustice
Along with this, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi described the last 10 years of the central government’s tenure as a period of injustice.
He said, “In these 10 years the youth have seen and understood the terrible unemployment crisis. This period of injustice has deprived millions of educated and ambitious youth from improving their economic future or contributing to nation-building. We will take such steps for the youth so that every youth will be able to secure his future and contribute to nation-building.”

He said, “We will light the lamp of justice in this darkness of injustice.”
Mallikarjun Kharge called Congress’s guarantee different from Modi’s
While addressing the public gathering at Banswara city’s college grounds, Mallikarjun Kharge emphasized the importance of preserving the Congress party to uphold all laws.
He asserted that the party’s guarantees stand firm, unlike Modi’s, and are backed by substantial commitments. Kharge highlighted the party’s track record of introducing beneficial schemes and connecting with people’s sentiments, contrasting it with BJP’s strategies.

Despite the party’s efforts in Rajasthan, Kharge questioned the reasons behind its defeat. He criticised Modi’s policies, particularly their impact on the poor, stressing the need for unity among various communities including the poor, farmers, tribals, and SC-ST. He also expressed confidence that collective unity would eventually lead to the retreat of the BJP.
When Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra reached Banswara, state Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, MLA Arjun Bamania and many senior leaders were present.

At the same time, senior Congress national leadership leader Digvijay Singh, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh, and Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitu Patwari were also present.
