Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij has made a sharp comment on TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee for mocking the country’s Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar outside the Parliament. Home Minister Vij tweeted on Wednesday morning and wrote – Making fun of Vice President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar by Mamata Banerjee’s MP Kalyan Banerjee is condemnable. Kalyan Banerjee should be dismissed from Parliament and admitted to a zoo.

At Makar Dwar outside the Parliament, a incident unfolded as TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee imitated the body language of Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was filming during this episode, accompanied by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal standing nearby. Banerjee, representing Shrirampur, West Bengal, has drawn attention due to this action.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar strongly criticized the incident, expressing dismay over the decline in conduct. He highlighted the filming of an MP’s unparliamentary behavior by a significant leader. Dhankhar urged for a sense of restraint, emphasizing the need for limitations. Subsequently, a complaint against TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee was lodged by Abhishek Gautam at the Defense Colony police station in Delhi.

Home Minister Anil Vij hit back at SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s statement in which he had said that when MPs had to be suspended, then why should a new Parliament be formed? Vij emphasized that the new Parliament was designed to facilitate expressing views comfortably. The purpose of being sent to Parliament is to articulate opinions, not to incite disruption or chaos.
