Determined to confront him, she drove to Ujjain, accompanied by other family members. She waited outside the hotel for her husband to emerge.
As Jitendra Mali and his female companion stepped out of the hotel, they were confronted by his wife, who had blocked their car. The confrontation quickly escalated into a heated argument between the two women. The sarpanch remained silent inside the car, covering his face with his hands in an apparent attempt to avoid the situation.
During the exchange, the female companion reportedly asked the wife who she was, to which the wife retorted that she would reveal her identity at the police station. The scene drew a crowd, and a video of the altercation, filmed by family members, quickly went viral on social media.
Jitendra Mali has been married twice. His first marriage ended in divorce, and he later remarried. Mali is now a father of four children. His second wife, an Anganwadi worker, accused him of mistreating her and seeking a third marriage, which she believes is the reason behind his abusive behavior. She further claimed that the ongoing tension in their marriage has taken a toll on her well-being.
Station Officer Narendra Yadav confirmed that no formal complaint has been filed regarding the incident. He stated that if the wife decides to take legal action, the authorities will proceed accordingly.
As the matter remains unresolved, the incident continues to generate discussions online, with many questioning the actions of the sarpanch and the public nature of the confrontation.
