On Monday, Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of India, received formal recognition as the Tripura Tourism Brand Ambassador and extended an invitation to global visitors to the stunning state of Tripura.
The former captain of India declared that he would use social media to advertise Tripura and encourage people to visit its stunning locations. “I have been introduced to this beautiful place. Since I have become the ambassador of Tripura Tourism, I will keep visiting this place. We will promote Tripura through social media, television, Facebook, and Instagram,” Ganguly told ANI on Monday.
When Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury visited Ganguly, the former captain of the Indian cricket team, at his Behala home, he offered him the position of brand ambassador, which he gladly accepted.
During his tenure on the field, the former captain of India was recognized for his unique style of leadership. He was dubbed “Dada” after making his Test debut against England in the summer of 1996. At Lord’s, he made headlines shortly after hitting a century in his debut Test match.
