Actress Triptii Dimri recently faced backlash after Jaipur event organizers accused her of skipping an event, despite allegedly charging Rs 5.5 lakhs. However, Triptii’s team responded to the claims, releasing a statement denying any agreement or commitment to attend.
The Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO alleged that Triptii was paid Rs 5 lakhs to attend their event but failed to appear.
On October 2, her team clarified: “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations… She did not participate or commit to any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties.” The spokesperson further emphasized that no payments were accepted for any such commitments.
At the FICCI FLO event, organizers expressed their frustration with Triptii’s absence, announcing their intent to file a police complaint. In a viral video, a woman criticized, “No one will watch her movies. They make commitments but don’t show up… She is not at all worth being called a celebrity.” Another attendee joined in, calling for Jaipur to boycott Triptii Dimri.
