Stolen Delhi SUV Discovered in Rajasthan with Three Notes Reading…

In an unusual incident in Napasar town, Bikaner, police discovered an abandoned Scorpio car missing its number plate. However, three handwritten notes provided crucial clues that enabled law enforcement to trace the vehicle back to its original owner in Delhi’s Palam colony.

Two notes were affixed to the rear glass of the car. One read, “This car has been stolen from Delhi’s Palam. Sorry,” and included the car number “DL 9 CA Z2937,” which proved helpful in identifying the owners.

Another note, positioned next to it, stated: “I love my India.”

The third note, placed on the windscreen, urged: “This car has been stolen from Delhi. Please call the police and inform them. Urgent.”

A local resident spotted the vehicle parked near a roadside hotel on the Jaipur-Bikaner Highway and alerted the police on Sunday.

Using the car’s registration number, authorities traced it back to a resident of Palam Colony, Delhi, who had reported the theft in an FIR filed on October 10.

Bikaner is located over 450 kilometers from Delhi, and police suspect that the vehicle may have been used in a crime before being abandoned.

“A team from Delhi police has arrived in Bikaner with the vehicle’s owner, Vinay Kumar. We are returning the vehicle to Delhi police,” said Jasveer Singh, inspector of Napasar Police Station, to NDTV.

“We can’t determine if this vehicle was involved in a crime or not. That will be the focus of an investigation. The Delhi police will handle it since the FIR regarding the stolen vehicle was registered in Delhi,” he added.
