Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus, Ratan Tata, passed away peacefully on October 9 at 11:30 PM at Breach Candy Hospital, South Mumbai. Draped in the Indian national flag, his mortal remains were placed on the lawns of the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA), Nariman Point, where the public was allowed to pay their final respects until 4 PM today. Following the tribute, his body was taken to the Prayer Hall at Worli Crematorium for the final rites.
