Nita Ambani, founder and chairman of Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) and Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School (NMAJS), gave a very powerful speech during the star-studded annual day celebration at the schools, which made it all about inclusiveness and thankfulness. She spoke to the support staff as the real “pillars” of the schools and emphasised their priceless efforts while taking the stage prior to the highly anticipated yearly play.
In addition to the instructors, Nita Ambani thanked the bus drivers, housekeepers, security personnel, medical personnel, and restaurant staff for their dedication to giving the students a safe and encouraging learning environment. “I would like to thank and congratulate the pillars of our school – our heads, teachers, staff, and all our bus didis, lift bhaiyas, housekeeping didis and bhaiyas, canteen staff, nurse, and security teams who are always there with a smile, welcoming and looking after our children,” she said, emphasising their unrelenting efforts.
Her remarks resonated with the audience, which included well-known corporate executives and Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, and Aishwarya Rai. The audience responded with a standing ovation to the expression of gratitude, highlighting the importance of honouring the unsung heroes who work behind the scenes.
Nita Ambani also expressed gratitude to her husband, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, for his steadfast support and devotion to the company. He has been to every graduation and annual day since the school’s founding, she said. She revealed that, in spite of his hectic schedule, he had gone to 20 graduations and 37 annual days.
That evening turned into a monument for inclusivity and gratitude as the varied crowd came together to honour the school community’s collective efforts to mould the brains of the future.
