Swantantrya Veer Savarkar’s biopic is experiencing legal challenges. Randeep Hooda, the film’s actor-director, stated that his company, Randeep Hooda Films, owns all intellectual property rights to the picture.
The media then had an exclusive interview with director Mahesh Manjrekar, who had originally been signed on to direct Swantantrya Veer Savarkar. He told us his side of the story and said he had to leave the project due to Randeep Hooda’s influence. “I have lived with the story for more than five years,” Mahesh Manjrekar stated. “I met Randeep and I saw that he’s quite sincere and was involved with the subject,” Mahesh Manjrekar stated. We had several meetings. He heard the first draft read out to him. He had a couple issues, which was fine. He had (some objections) even during the second draft.
