A beauty and skincare influencer based in New York recently shared a reel showcasing her extensive 15-step hand care routine.

The DIY treatments, more intricate than a standard salon manicure, intrigued viewers who were impressed by the detailed regimen for hand care.

With over 1.6 million followers on TikTok and 5.71 lakh followers on Instagram, Victoria begins her routine by cleansing her hands with a mousse. She then steams her hands after drying them and applies a hand mask, taking a break to prepare a chilled beverage.

Next, she melts paraffin wax and uses it as a mask on both hands. After removing the wax, she applies hand retinol, uses a device for red light therapy, and applies hand cream. The final steps include applying cuticle oil, performing Gua sha (a traditional Chinese massage technique to enhance blood flow), and applying sunscreen.

Gua sha is a traditional Chinese method of gently massaging the face (or hands in this case) with a specialized tool to boost circulation and lymphatic drainage, a technique popular among skincare influencers.

Victoria captioned the video on Instagram with, “My high maintenance to be low maintenance,” showcasing her meticulous approach to hand care.
