Food safety in India is facing serious scrutiny following numerous contamination cases reported on social media. An alarming incident has emerged from a sweet shop in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. A customer discovered a frog leg inside a samosa purchased from Bikaner Sweets. The shopkeeper has been arrested, and an investigation is in progress.
A video circulating online shows the frog leg found in the samosa and the shop where it was bought. The video also depicts customers approaching the receptionist with the contaminated samosa, and one person can be heard calling the police helpline, 100.
