Marking the third installment to the series, Carry on Jatta 3 is the sequel to Carry on Jatta and Carry on Jatta 2. The movie stars Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles, with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kavita Kaushik, Binnu Dhillon, Nasir Chinyoti, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma, and Karamjit Anmol in supporting roles. The Punjabi movie is doing the rounds around the country and the world and has grossed Rs 100 crore at the Box Office worldwide. It has created history, as this is the first time that any Indian Punjabi-language film has crossed Rs 100 crore gross at the ticket window.
The film has rightfully met the expectations of the audience. The film has an element of freshness despite the fact that the audience is very familiar with the characters and the course of the movie. Interestingly, Carry on Jatta 3 also beat the Pakistani film ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt to become the highest-grossing Punjabi language film worldwide. The film is still running in theatres; however, the collection has been hindered by the release of Barbie and Oppenheimer, who have taken the world by storm. Nevertheless, the film has created history with its fabulous performance and has been successful in adding its name to the list of record breakers.
