Located in Chotila Village in Pali district, about 50 kilometres from Jodhpur, the temple has become a must-visit stop for travelers along National Highway 62. Devotees from all over flock here daily to offer liquor, light incense, and pray for safe journeys. The unique devotion to the motorbike, believed to possess protective powers, makes Om Banna Temple one of India’s most unusual and intriguing spiritual sites.
RANAKPUR SUN TEMPLE: A MARVEL OF ARCHITECTURE AND DEVOTION
The Sun Temple in Ranakpur, also known as the Surya Narayan Temple, is a celebrated site dedicated to Lord Surya. Originally built in the 13th century and reconstructed in the 15th century, the temple showcases stunning white limestone construction in the Nagara style, featuring intricate carvings and elaborate architectural details. PARSHURAM MAHADEV TEMPLE: ANCIENT CAVE SHRINE OF LORD SHIVA
Parshuram Mahadev Temple is a cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the border of Pali and Rajsamand districts in Rajasthan, India. The main cave temple lies in Rajsamand district, while Kunti Dham falls in Desuri Tehsil of Pali district.
The temple is approximately 100 km from Pali, 10 km from the famous Kumbhalgarh Fort, 14 km from Sadri, and 160 km from Jodhpur. Visitors approaching from the lower-altitude Sadri side find access easier, while routes from Kumbhalgarh, Rajsamand, Nathdwara, or Udaipur involve some trekking downhill from the designated parking area. From the Sadri side, devotees must climb 500 steps to reach the ancient cave temple.
