In response, a contingent of army personnel, a 40-member medical team, and 15 ambulances were dispatched to assist with relief efforts. Senior railway and local administration officials are at the scene overseeing operations, with additional rescue teams mobilized from Gorakhpur and Gonda.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to expedite relief work and ensure proper medical care for the injured, stating, “Reach the spot immediately and expedite the relief work.” Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma is also monitoring the situation, as confirmed by the Assam CMO.
