King of Kotha, the upcoming Malayalam film is all set to release in the theatres on 24th August 2023. The movie trailer was played at New York’s Times Square about which the actor, Dulquer Salmaan shares his excitement telling the action thriller film is a biggest tribute to Malayalam cinema.
This is Dulquer’s all-time high budget film, produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios showing the story of two eras. This film is Abhilash Joshiy’s directorial debut. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan along with Suriya, Mohanlal and Nagarjuna unveiled the movie trailer.
Taking to Instagram, Dulquer shared the video of the trailer being played at Times Square.
The video showed people cheering for the actor. Dulquer wrote, “Cannot contain my excitement. King of Kotha has become the first Malayalam film to have its trailer played at New York City’s Times Square. Having visited the busy and vibrant Time’s Square several times, never even dreamed of appearing on the screens there. Big moment for me personally and the biggest tribute we can give to Malayalam Cinema.”
