Noida: In anticipation of a large gathering of devotees for Janmashtami, the Noida traffic police have announced traffic diversions near the Iskcon Temple in Sector 33 on Monday. These measures are intended to manage the heavy traffic expected in the area.

Restricted Routes

DCP (Traffic) Yamuna Prasad has stated that ‘Maharaja Agrasen Marg’ will experience traffic restrictions on both sides, from the NTPC underpass to Gijhore Chowk. Commuters traveling from Gijhore towards Sector 18 and Atta Market are advised to avoid this stretch by taking an alternate route through Hoshiyarpur village and proceeding to the City Centre.

Closed Loops for Safety

While the Noida Elevated Road will remain open, the loops near the Iskcon Temple and NTPC will be closed to ensure safety during the festivities. These closures are necessary due to the expected high footfall and to prevent potential traffic issues.

Parking Arrangements

For those visiting the Iskcon Temple, parking has been arranged in ‘Sector 25A’. General parking will be available at ‘Adobe Chowk’, with designated parking for invitees near ‘Noida Haat’.

The traffic police have requested the public to cooperate and follow the suggested detours to avoid any inconvenience. This arrangement is expected to help manage the heavy influx of devotees and ensure smooth traffic flow in the area during the Janmashtami celebrations.
