In a recent episode of his podcast “Fire and Fury,” journalist Michael Wolff unveiled startling allegations concerning former U.S. President Donald Trump and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. Wolff claimed that Trump and Epstein had wagered on who would be the first to court Princess Diana. He stated, “I had a ‘secret source’ when writing the first book, and it was ‘Trump’s old friend Jeffrey Epstein.'”

Wolff, renowned for his trilogy on the Trump White House—”Fire and Fury,” “Siege: Trump Under Fire,” and “Landslide”—also alleged that Epstein possessed photographs of Trump with topless young women seated on his lap. According to Wolff, these images were taken in the late 1990s at Epstein’s Palm Beach residence, a location infamous for Epstein’s exploitation of underage girls alongside Ghislaine Maxwell. Wolff claimed that Epstein stored these photographs in a safe, which was later confiscated by the FBI during their 2019 raid.

These revelations emerge just days before a closely contested election between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, potentially influencing public perception. Despite multiple media inquiries, Trump has not responded to these allegations.

Epstein’s associations with high-profile individuals have been a subject of scrutiny. In 2019, footage surfaced showing Trump and Epstein socializing at Mar-a-Lago in 1992, highlighting their past camaraderie. Additionally, Epstein’s connections extended to other prominent figures, including former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew.

Wolff’s assertions add to the complex narrative surrounding Epstein’s relationships with influential personalities. The claim of a bet involving Princess Diana introduces a new dimension to the discourse, though it remains unverified. As the election approaches, these allegations may impact voter sentiment, underscoring the enduring intrigue surrounding Epstein’s associations.

The FBI’s 2019 raid on Epstein’s properties yielded substantial evidence, including numerous photographs of girls and young women. However, details about the individuals depicted have not been publicly disclosed. Epstein’s death in custody in 2019, ruled a suicide, left many questions unanswered regarding his extensive network and the full extent of his criminal activities.

Wolff’s podcast episode has reignited discussions about Epstein’s influence and the potential implications for those within his circle. The timing of these revelations, so close to the election, adds a layer of complexity to the political landscape. As the public and media continue to scrutinize these claims, the broader implications for political accountability and transparency remain at the forefront of national discourse.
