The declaration, required by the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), includes luxury items, international properties, and substantial investments.

Paetongtarn’s asset declaration revealed 13.8 billion baht ($400 million) with investments totaling 11 billion baht. Her cash and deposits amount to another billion baht underscoring her financial prominence. The prime minister also declared a collection of luxury items which includes 75 high-end watches valued at 162 million baht ($5 million) and 217 designer handbags worth 76 million baht ($2 million).
Additionally, she listed properties in London and Japan among her extensive holdings alongside various other assets. However, her liabilities stand at nearly five billion baht, giving her a net worth of approximately 8.9 billion baht ($258 million).

Paetongtarn Shinawatra assumed office in September, becoming the fourth member of her influential family to lead Thailand’s government in the past 20 years. Her father, Thaksin Shinawatra is known for his Shin Corp telecommunications empire and has a reported net worth of $2.1 billion, according to Forbes, ranking him among Thailand’s wealthiest individuals.
Thaksin once owned Manchester City Football Club and leveraged his business success to enter politics with his family remaining a dominant force even during his years in exile following his ousting in a coup.
