Prime Minister Narendra Modi today at NXT Conclave said that India is becoming a reliable partner in global supply chain and it is due to the planned and systematic policy decision of the government.
“We are not only providing our products to the world India is becoming a reliable partner in global supply chain,” he said, adding that now farmers are selling their produce to the whole world which were earlier restricted to the local haats only.
Earlier, India was import centric and now it is evolving into an emerging exporting hub, he said.
PM Modi said that there is mantra in the core which is “minimum government and maximum governance.”
He also stressed that India has shown a substantial growth in agriculture and currently India is supplying 60% of turmeric to the world and it is also the 7th largest producer of coffee globally.
India ranks second worldwide in farm outputs. As per the Indian economic survey 2020 -21, agriculture employed more than 50% of the Indian workforce and contributed 20.2% to the country’s GDP.

Indian medicines and electronic products are making their own identity in the world, he said, adding that overall, India is leading the global initiatives
