Musk-Backed AfD in Germany Hands Out Fake Plane Tickets to Migrants for Deportation

Alternative for Germany party was involved in outrage by providing migrant youths with false air tickets ahead of federal elections in Karlsruhe next month. The fake air tickets bearing the headline “In your home country, it’s also nice” looked pretty much like actual flight tickets.

This incident has drawn comparisons to the fake tickets distributed by Nazis during the Holocaust to Jews, offering “free tickets to Jerusalem … never to return.” The AfD, often labeled as neo-Nazi due to its leaders’ associations with far-right groups, has been drawing criticism for its anti-migrant stance.

The AfD promised large-scale repatriations, and if it enters the government next election, things are going to get ugly very fast. Tesla’s Elon Musk, who endorsed the AfD, is secretly funding right-wing parties across the West, Germany included, according to reports.

The police have opened an investigation, suspecting that the distribution may be an incitement of hatred, especially in neighborhoods with high migrant populations. However, the AfD denied targeting specific groups, stating that the flyers were distributed across the city to raise awareness of their policies.

“The election flyer is distributed in Karlsruhe in as high a quantity as possible and without specific demands or restriction. It aims to make the electorate aware of our proposals in the area, which fully tally with legal conditions,” said an AfD spokesman, who claimed that the message was targeted at illegal non-citizens.
