A shocking video shows a man dressed in black attempting to climb the White House security fence before getting stuck. The incident happened on the South Grounds on Monday, February 3. A tourist captured the moment as the man ran toward the fence and started climbing. Witnesses said he shouted, “Fu it,”** before making the attempt.
Secret Service Rushes to Stop Him
As the man climbed, an onlooker reacted with surprise, shouting, “Bro!” He kept going, trying to reach the top. But before he could make it over, Secret Service agents inside the White House grounds rushed to stop him.
When he reached the spikes at the top, he got stuck. Realizing he couldn’t go further, he started climbing back down. However, agents quickly surrounded him before he could get away.
Tourist Captures the “Surreal” Scene
David Stanley, a tourist from Oklahoma, filmed the entire scene. Speaking to Fox 5, he described the moment as “surreal.” He and his wife saw rooftop snipers moving quickly into position as officers closed in on the man.
Authorities have not revealed the climber’s identity or his reason for scaling the fence. It’s also unclear if he will face any charges.
Video Goes Viral on X
The video has spread quickly on X (formerly Twitter). The page Injury Pic Page shared it with a caption quoting Stanley:
“Saw this pretty surreal thing at the White House today. This man walked by my wife and I as we were taking pics of the White House. He walked by us and said ‘F$ck it’ and started crossing barriers until he reached the White House fence. Seeing the snipers on top scurrying around and dogs racing out on the lawn was wild.”
White House Security on High Alert
The White House sits on 18 acres and is heavily guarded. Uniformed officers, special agents, and advanced security systems protect the area at all times. Despite strict security, people still try to breach the fence.
Officials have not yet confirmed whether the man will face legal action.
