The Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police, in a joint operation with Delhi Police Counter Intelligence Special Cell, took action against a notorious and wanted criminal in the Tricity and arrested three shooters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar gang. The arrested individuals have been identified as Sunny alias Sachin alias Maddy Manchanda, a resident of Kila Mohalla, Rohtak, Haryana; Umang, a resident of Peerji Mohalla, near Shorey Market, Rohtak; and Kailash Chauhan alias Tiger, a resident of village Bhupani Sector 89, Greater Faridabad, Haryana.

Police recovered two pistols, 6 live cartridges, and lawyer’s uniform/dress from the possession of the accused. A case was registered under the Arms Act at Police Station-36, Chandigarh. The accused were presented in court, and police remand was obtained for 5 days.

Providing information, Ketan Bansal, SP/Crime, and DSP Crime Udaypal Singh mentioned that the accused had come to murder the well-known gangster Bhuppi Rana, who was arrested by the Crime Branch team. These shooters were sent by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar to kill Bhuppi Rana.The investigation revealed that, along with firearms, lawyers’ dresses were also purchased on behalf of the accused. Dresses for both a girl and a boy were purchased, with the target to kill Bhuppi Rana, be it in Panchkula, Mohali, or Chandigarh.

Gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar were planning to murder gangster Bhuppi Rana, and for this, they also conducted a raid in all three district courts of the Tri-City. However, Chandigarh Crime Branch and Delhi Police received information about this.
Chandigarh Police received secret information that two persons were roaming with illegal weapons in the area near Sector 43 District Court. Subsequently, Inspector Ashok Kumar’s team and both the teams together arrested three henchmen of the gangsters.

Kailash Chauhan alias Tiger, who had a plan to eliminate gangster Bhuppi Rana, was in the courtroom in an advocate’s uniform/dress. For this, he bought two advocate dresses (one for men and one for women) from Elante Mall. Goldie Brar is running a nexus with Lawrence Bishnoi. Tiger and Sunny came to Chandigarh in September on the instructions of Goldie Brar’s associate Vicky Chauhan.

Goldie Brar wanted to eliminate someone in Sector-7, Chandigarh, at that time. Sukha Derabassi and Gilli Rana of Yamunanagar helped them in transportation. While providing weapons, his pistol got stuck, trapping him. He did not fire and ran away from there. Goldie Brar has been declared a terrorist
