40% of cancers can be prevented if detected before developing in the body. It is essential to adopt a healthy lifestyle and participate in cancer screening programs. Cancers such as breast, cervical, colorectal, and oral cancers, whose number of patients is rapidly increasing, are preventable. Therefore, these cancers can be prevented through screening before they develop in the body.

SYMPTOMS AND INDICATIONS
If there is any discomfort in the body, it should not be ignored, and screening should be done under the guidance of a doctor. Habits like lack of exercise, excessive consumption of junk food, smoking, and alcohol consumption are causing an increase in cancer cases among youth. There is a rapid increase in cancers such as mouth and throat cancer in males, lung cancer, large intestine cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and cervical cancer in females. Generally, these cancers were observed in people aged 40 years or older, but in recent years, cases of these cancers are emerging in individuals aged 20 to 35 years.

It is essential to avoid fast food as excessive consumption of junk food is a significant cause of various types of cancers. Instead of junk food like pizza, pasta, burgers, it is necessary to eat homemade food, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and mixed grains in daily diet provides significant benefits.

Recognize these symptoms
Symptoms like non-healing sores in the mouth or throat, difficulty swallowing, or a change in voice, lumps anywhere in the body, lumps in the breast, or changes in size, persistent cough or blood in sputum, blood in stools or urine, abnormality in menstruation other than menstruation, or bleeding after menopause are included in early symptoms of cancer. It is essential to recognize these symptoms and consult a doctor in time for proper diagnosis.
