To everyone’s surprise, a three-year-old girl survived the Thailand daycare centre shooting as she slept through the massacre covered in a blanket.  The girl- Paweenuch Supolwong- was unscathed after former police officer Panya Kamrap on Thursday killed 36 people at a day care centre in Thailand which included 24 children.

The only person to survive Thailand’s bloodiest mass shooting unharmed is Paweenuch Supolwong. At the time the shooter entered the building, the girl was dozing off while facing a wall. According to the report, she did not witness or hear the attack.

According to the girl’s mother, Paweenuch Supolwong escaped the attack because the shooter believed he had already murdered her and that she had passed away while she was sleeping.

On Saturday, while families prayed for the shooting victims, a rare public appearance by Thailand’s king showed his solidarity. The survivors and their family members were greeted by King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand at a hospital in the province of Nong Bua Lam Phu. “I’ve come over to help you. I’m very sorry about what occurred. I share your anguish, your sadness, your”

“The sadness cannot be expressed in words. I believe in you all and wish you well so that the children’s spirits can be at ease “Added he.

On Friday, the Thai prime minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha joined the mourning to lay flowers and present restitution checks to bereaved relatives.
