Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Summoned in Amit Shah Fake Video Case
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was called by the Delhi Police on Monday regarding the fabricated video case concerning Union Home Minister Amit Shah, as per sources.

The Congress politician is anticipated to present his cell phone to the Delhi Police’s IFSO unit (Cyber Unit) on May 1.

The Telangana chief minister has been instructed to appear with his phone, which allegedly was utilized to upload the fabricated video onto X (formerly known as Twitter).

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed on Monday that the Assam Police had apprehended an individual, identified as Reetom Singh , for his involvement in a fabricated film featuring Amit Shah, the BJP chief, and Union Home Minister. The suspect has been taken into police custody, and the investigation is ongoing.

CM of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma posted a tweet on X, “Assam police have arrested an individual named Sri Reetom Singh in connection with the fake video involving Honorable Home Minister Sri @AmitShah.” Social media users were sharing a purportedly recorded video featuring Home Minister Amit Shah, wherein it was claimed that “BJP would end the reservation for SC, ST, and OBC if voted to power.”

Following the Ministry of Home Affairs’ complaint filed with the Delhi Police on Sunday regarding the manipulated videos of Union Home Minister Amit Shah circulating on social media. In the authentic video, the Union Home Minister stated his intention for the BJP to abolish reservations for the Muslim community, referring to it as “unconstitutional.”
