TVS Motors has officially unveiled the Jupiter 125 CNG marking its entry into the compressed natural gas (CNG) scooter segment. It is based on the widely popular Jupiter platform, this scooter concept is being promoted as the world’s first CNG powered scooter.
The Jupiter 125 CNG promises a green alternative for urban commuters who seek fuel efficiency without compromising on style or performance and its launch in India is expected around February 2026.
Jupiter CNG Price in India
The TVS Jupiter 125 CNG is anticipated to be priced between Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 in India. This pricing places it competitively within the eco-friendly scooter market, giving it an edge over other CNG scooters and electric alternatives. The Comparable models in the segment include the Okinawa Ridge Plus, Ampere Magnus Grand, Gemopai Astrid Lite and the upcoming Suzuki E Access which is expected to launch in October 2025.

TVS Jupiter 125 CNG Design
The Jupiter CNG remains close to the standard Jupiter 125, retaining its modern and ergonomic look. The difference is the addition of a 1.4kg CNG tank under the seat which is cleverly integrated and covered by a plastic panel. The tank features a visible pressure gauge and a filler nozzle, maintaining a clean design. The scooter also retains the familiar floorboard-mounted 2-litre petrol tank and providing a total range of around 226km when both fuels are combined.

It has an expected top speed of 80kmph along with the claimed mileage of 84km per kilogram of CNG, making it a very cost-effective machine for the daily commuter concerned with fuel costs. The engine is known to be smooth and reliable and is able to cope with the dual fuel system.
