TVS Motor Company has shifted the performance scooter game into a higher gear. The company has officially launched the much-anticipated TVS Ntorq 150 in India, with prices starting at ₹1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Despite drawing inspiration from the popular Ntorq 125, this new model is a complete redesign aimed at dominating the 150cc market with aggressive appearance, more power, and several segment-first improvements.

What Sets the Ntorq 150's Design Apart?

Gone are the days of subtle evolution. The Ntorq 150 boasts a remarkably fresh and distinct identity. Key design elements that make it stand out include:

  • A new LED DRL and indicator design.
  • A bold quad LED projector headlight setup for superior illumination.
  • Body panels with aggressive styling that accentuate its athletic qualities.
  • A unique split-style tail light design, a first for the segment.

This purposeful redesign ensures the new Ntorq 150 looks every bit the performance machine it claims to be.

What Powers the New Ntorq?

At the heart of this scooter is a new 149.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The three-valve setup produces a healthy 13 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. TVS claims the scooter can hit a top speed of 104 kmph, making it one of the most powerful options in its class. The chassis is the same as the Ntorq 125, but in order to accommodate the increased performance, the telescopic fork and monoshock have new spring rates and damping.

  • Full LED Lighting: From the headlight to the tail light, ensuring visibility and a premium look.
  • A front disc and a rear drum brake provide braking, while single-channel ABS is standard.
