Oppo F31 Series to Launch in India: Oppo is apparently set to launch next generation F-series smartphones in India, probably between September 12 to September 14, 2025. The new series is dubbed the Oppo F31 series and would replace the earlier Oppo F29 devices which made their debut in March this year.
Apparently, there are speculations that the company will unveil three phones the Oppo F31, Oppo F31 Pro and Oppo F31 Pro+, which would target a midrange consumer demographic but each offering improvements in durability, performance and design from the other models.
Oppo F31 Specifications
According to leaked details, the Oppo F31 is meant to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor whereas the F31 Pro would probably house the more powerful Dimensity 7300 SoC.

The top-tier F31 Pro+ is rumored to house the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage that makes it a performance device compared to other models. All these three devices come decked with a 7000mAh battery designed for heavy users coupled with 80W wired fast charging to minimize downtime.
Durability and Network Upgrades
The series might not bring any major video or chipset changes compared to the F29 series. However, durability and reliability appear to be a hot cake for Oppo now. The phones should come with an upgraded design that would likely be termed 360-degree Armour Body, giving reinforced protection through diamond cut corners and impact resistant structures, building on F29’s aluminum alloy motherboard cover and drop resistant enhancements.

In terms of connectivity, Oppo is said to have really been working on improving its network performances after the success of its Hunter Antenna in the F29 series. They should be expecting much better signals with lesser chances of calls being dropped, something vital in countries like India where connectivity is a major concern.
What This Means for the Market
The Oppo F31 series seems intended not to reinvent the wheel but to improve and it could be performance balanced, have good durability and have great charging technology. Thus, for consumers, they could expect batteries that last longer, faster charging cycles and better signals but at a price tag the industry expects will still be attractive to India’s crowded mid-range market.
Competing motors are intensifying from Realme, iQOO and Samsung. Oppo banks on this value proposition, durability and endurance, mostly for users looking for reliability as their daily driver, rather than for those who are only after headline specs. As the launch date of the F31 series draws near, it is expected to consolidate the brand’s presence within India’s smartphone market, while continuing to uphold the legacies of its F-series lineup.
