The much-awaited OnePlus 15 is making waves months ahead of its release. The phone is rumored to replace the OnePlus 13, with the firm likely to skip the “14” name, following some phone manufacturers’ penchant for not using the number on cultural grounds in some markets. While official details remain under wraps, several leaks and reports have provided a glimpse into what fans can expect in terms of launch timeline, pricing, design, and specifications.

OnePlus 15 Launch Date in India (Expected)

The OnePlus 15 is likely to have a similar launch pattern as the OnePlus 13. As per rumors, the phone can launch first in China in October 2025, followed by an Indian arrival in January 2026. This is similar to the OnePlus 13 launch cycle, which also had an international launch with a staggered pattern.

OnePlus 15 Price in India (Expected)

The OnePlus 13 retailed at ₹69,999 for the starting variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, whereas the premium models with 16GB/512GB and 24GB/1TB were priced at ₹89,999. The OnePlus 15 is said to be launched around the same or slightly higher price level compared to the OnePlus 13, i.e., around ₹70,000–₹75,000 in India.

Furthermore, the new smartphone is said to debut with a new “Moon Rock Black” color variant in addition to available colors such as Arctic Dawn and Black Eclipse.

OnePlus 15 Design (Expected)

One of the most significant developments predicted for the OnePlus 15 is its looks. As opposed to the OnePlus 13’s circular rear camera module, the new device could go for a reimagined, more rectangular camera design. There are also rumours of a flat display design with thinner bezels through the use of low-injection pressure over-moulding (LIPO) technology. It would be a shift from OnePlus’ classic curved display design philosophy.

OnePlus 15 Display Specifications (Expected)

Leaks indicate that the OnePlus 15 may sport a 6.78-inch flat LTPO screen with 1.5K resolution and a higher 165Hz refresh rate. While this would translate to a slightly reduced screen size and resolution from the OnePlus 13’s 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO 4.1 ProXDR panel, the increased refresh rate should provide smoother scrolling and improved gaming performance.

OnePlus 15 Chipset and Battery (Expected)

Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 is said to be driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC (SM8850) next-generation chip, combined with the latest GPU and higher-end RAM-storage features.

Battery life is also an area that is expected to see dramatic improvements. Rumors suggest that the phone may pack a 7,000mAh battery or bigger, with an option for 100W wired fast charging. That would be a major over the OnePlus 13, which had a 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 15 Camera Specifications (Expected)

Though rumors of the camera setup are still sketchy, some indicate that the company is experimenting with triple 50MP setup prototypes. This would potentially feature:

  • 50MP main sensor (standard or ultra-large)
  • 50MP second ultrawide lens
  • 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom

This would be an extension of the OnePlus 13’s Hasselblad-titled system, with possible variation in sensor sizes and design arrangement.
