Earlier, the Swift attracted 28% GST. From September 22, 2025, the revised GST rate will be 18%, bringing prices down across all variants.
Swift buyers will save 8.5% on average, which equals ₹55,300 to ₹80,901 depending on the model. The biggest cut applies to the ZXI Plus petrol-automatic.
Along with the Swift, other popular Maruti hatchbacks, compact sedans, and CNG variants are also expected to see similar price reductions after the GST cut.
On average, all Swift models will see a price drop of about 8.5%. The ZXI Plus petrol-automatic has the largest cut, with prices decreasing by ₹80,901. Even the entry-level LXI gets cheaper by more than ₹55,000.
The new GST rates are making the Maruti Swift much more affordable. No matter if you choose petrol, automatic, or CNG, all versions are getting cheaper. This is good news for car buyers and may also increase Swift’s demand in the market.
The revised prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025. While Maruti Suzuki may tweak the numbers slightly, buyers can look forward to big savings.
