Hyundai concluded its 2025 Investor Day with major announcements for the Indian market. The company confirmed plans to launch 26 new models in India over the next few years.
One of the most significant updates is the Genesis luxury brand, which Hyundai plans to introduce in India by 2027.
While these are long-term goals, Hyundai is actively developing the updated Venue SUV, which has been recently spotted testing in South Korea. The spy shots reveal a clear look at the upcoming design changes.
Exterior Updates on the New Venue
The facelifted Hyundai Venue features a new light setup with split LED headlamps. A slim full-width LED strip sits in a gloss black panel. The SUV also gets large C-shaped LED DRLs on either side of a bigger grille.

The front bumper design is more pronounced, giving extra space to the air vents. The overall silhouette remains similar to the current Venue but with new boxy design elements, including chunky side claddings and more prominent wheel arches.
The rear gets minimal updates, with a redesigned rear C-pillar incorporating a rear quarter glass with silver trim.
Interior and Features Expectations
The recent spy shots do not show the interiors. However, earlier images suggest the facelifted Venue may feature a new dashboard layout and dual 10.2-inch curved screens for infotainment and instrumentation.
The SUV is also expected to offer ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and wireless smartphone connectivity.
Engine and Performance
The Hyundai Venue facelift is likely to carry engines from the current model. These include a 1.2-liter Kappa petrol engine, a 1.0-liter Turbo GDi petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter U2 CRDi VGT diesel engine.
Hyundai is expected to retain smooth performance while improving the SUV’s modern appeal with updated design and features.
Looking Ahead
With these updates, the Hyundai Venue facelift is poised to strengthen Hyundai’s SUV lineup in India. The combination of fresh design, tech updates, and engine options aims to keep the Venue competitive in its segment.
Hyundai’s long-term strategy, including 26 new models and the Genesis brand launch, signals the company’s strong focus on expanding its presence in India and appealing to both mass-market and luxury consumers.
