Washington [US], August 11 (ANI): Google is set to launch a Stephen Curry edition of the Pixel Watch 5, with leaked renders and pricing revealing the special version ahead of the smartwatch’s expected August 20 release.
As per GSM Arena, the edition is part of Google’s long-standing partnership with NBA star Stephen Curry.
The Google Pixel Watch 5 is expected to be announced in two days alongside the Pixel 11 series, while the smartwatch itself is expected to launch on August 20, based on the time shown in leaked images.
Recent leaks as per GSM Arena, have already revealed extensive details about the Pixel Watch 5’s specifications and design.
The latest leaked materials now show the special Stephen Curry edition, including its design and reported pricing.
The Stephen Curry edition is essentially a regular Pixel Watch 5 paired with an exclusive woven loop band.
The band comes in stone gray and taupe, with strong orange accents similar to those seen on the recently released Fitbit Air in Stephen Curry colours, as per GSM Arena.
The leaked materials, as per GSM Arena, show the 45mm Pixel Watch 5 with the special band, which carries a Stephen Curry label along with the “#LockIn” branding. The band is also water-repellent, making it suitable for workouts.
Despite the special-edition branding and exclusive band, Google is reportedly keeping the price premium relatively limited.
The Stephen Curry Pixel Watch 5 is priced at USD 669, according to GSM Arena.
