In the video showcasing Michel&Amazonka’s uniforms for Team Mongolia, models are seen wearing attire adorned with traditional Mongolian patterns. Michel&Amazonka, a leading fashion brand in Mongolia founded by two sisters, is renowned for its innovative designs.

One of the female models showcased the uniform designed for the female flag bearer of Team Mongolia, featuring a robe dress known as a deel, which is still worn traditionally by Mongolians. This was paired with an embroidered vest, a handbag resembling India’s potli bags, heels, and earrings. The other female model wore a similar embroidered vest, along with a pleated skirt, blouse, handbag, and earrings. These outfits are intended for the female athletes of Team Mongolia.
The male flag bearer’s uniform includes a lightweight cotton Mongolian robe embellished with auspicious embroidery, a traditional feature in Mongolia. It is complemented by an embroidered vest, traditional Mongolian boots, and a decorated belt. On the other hand, the male athlete’s uniform consists of trousers, a Mandarin collar shirt, an embroidered vest, and sneakers.

Multiple fashion influencer pages have posted videos discussing Team Mongolia’s Olympic uniforms. Fashion commentator Ryan Yip shared his thoughts on Instagram, remarking, “Tell me why we read about fashion every day, but I’ve never seen this until now.” He praised the uniforms, highlighting that they are not merely runway pieces but couture designs created specifically for the Mongolian team.
