According to sources, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officials are planning a meet-up with PM Modi, with most of the players expected to attend, except for Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube. These three players are part of India’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against Zimbabwe, set to begin on July 6 in Harare.
Following India’s seven-run victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup final, PM Modi spoke to head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma, and veteran batter Virat Kohli to congratulate them on their win.
