Newly leaked emails from the “Epstein Files” have revealed that at least one Indian victim, subjected to sexual assault by an unnamed perpetrator within the Jeffrey Epstein network, was the subject of high-level legal and governmental coordination to secure mental health support.

The Epstein Files comprise millions of documents, images, videos, and emails detailing the operations of the late American financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. These records, which include his private book of contacts, flight logs, and court documents, were collected as evidence by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and stored in its Sentinel case management system.

Among the documents released by the U.S. Justice Department is a pivotal email exchange dated January 13, 2020. The correspondence involves trial attorney Brittany Henderson and an official within the FBI.

Henderson, alongside her law firm partner and mentor Bradley J. Edwards, has been at the forefront of the legal battle for Epstein’s victims. Their decade-long effort, which eventually led to the charges that placed Epstein behind bars, is chronicled in their book, Relentless Pursuit: My Fight for the Victims of Jeffrey Epstein.

While the duo initially rose to prominence representing Courtney Wild, they now represent over 50 victims against Epstein’s estate and continue to pursue charges against his associates, including Ghislaine Maxwell.

The leaked emails, sections of which are in the possession of TDG, show Henderson advocating for survivors who were “very interested in therapy.” While the email lists several clients based in Florida and New York, it specifically highlights the plight of a victim living abroad.

“Finally, [Name Redacted] is currently living in India. Is there anything that can be done to help her? Would she still be eligible to receive six free sessions over there? Are there any resources that can be offered in India? Let me know when you have a few minutes to talk,” Henderson wrote in the email, which was also copied to Bradley Edwards.

The FBI responded the same day. The sender—purportedly an FBI official—directed Henderson to the New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) website and the Crime Victims Treatment Center for those based in the U.S.

Regarding the international connection, the official suggested direct coordination with American diplomatic channels in India.

“And lastly, regarding the individual located in India. If you can get me her address and contact information; I will coordinate with our colleagues at the embassy there,” the official wrote.

The official also requested that Henderson have the Florida-based victims’ therapists contact the FBI directly so that emergency victim assistance funds could be used to cover the costs of their treatment.

When contacted by TDG, a representative at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi requested that inquiries be made during standard office hours. Attempts to reach Edwards and Henderson for further comment were also made; their responses will be incorporated into this report upon receipt.
