According to the latest Forbes real-time billionaires list, published on October 5, Taylor Swift is now worth $1.6 billion, surpassing Rihanna, who was previously the richest female musician with a net worth of $1.4 billion.
Swift’s fortune includes an estimated $600 million from royalties and touring revenue, another $600 million from her music catalog, and about $125 million in real estate holdings.

The Pennsylvania native now ranks second on the list of the world’s richest musicians, trailing only Jay-Z, whose net worth stands at an impressive $2.5 billion.

Although Taylor Swift is already the richest female artist in the world, she is expected to retain that title as the Eras Tour continues, allowing her to accumulate even more income.
By the end of 2023, halfway through its 152-show schedule, the Eras Tour had already grossed over $1 billion, making it the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. According to Pollstar, the tour is projected to generate around $2.165 billion by the end of 2024, further solidifying its place as the most successful tour in history, surpassing Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which grossed $939 million.
