Last week, the Daily Mail and other publications shared paparazzi photos of Sydney Sweeney at her Florida Keys mansion. In the images, the 27-year-old actress is seen in a purple bikini, adjusting her top and fixing her hair by the pool. Shortly after, some Reddit users began criticizing her appearance while she was simply enjoying her time at home.
Rather than ignoring the negative comments, Sydney decided to address them head-on. She posted the cruel remarks on Instagram, including comments like: “She knocked up? Stung by a nest of wasps? Dive into a swimming pool full of donuts and chips? Good grief man!” and “Quite frumpy, isn’t she?”

The video then transitions to footage of Sydney engaging in intense physical activities. She is shown boxing, flipping large tires, and lifting weights. At the end of the video, the name “Christy Martin” appears. Sydney is training to portray the professional boxer in an upcoming biopic, which is currently in post-production.
Sydney isn’t new to physical fitness. She loves slalom waterskiing, which she finds both fun and challenging. “It’s a lot of upper body strength, balance, core, and legs—you get tired really fast,” she told Women’s Health. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it’s so much fun.”
In addition to waterskiing, Sydney enjoys hiking with her dog, Tank, and has practiced mixed martial arts (MMA) for years. Running, strength training, and Pilates are also part of her regular fitness routine. She’s a fan of Solidcore, a full-body Pilates workout that leaves her feeling toned and strong.
Sydney’s message is simple and clear: Take a seat. She isn’t letting body shamers dictate how she feels about herself.
