According to the release, all passengers using SVPI Airport are asked to allow extra time for travel-related formalities and required security procedures. This is done to ensure that passengers’ convenience and flight schedules are given top priority.
The SVPI Airport spokesperson said in a statement that in order to guarantee efficient travel through the airport, all security teams at the terminal and on the landside are kept on standby with dynamic resource allocation based on passenger load.
Additionally, passengers are informed about the Indian Air Force’s closure of airspace for an air show.

During the event, there are fifteen easily accessible stands at the airport for overnight parking. Six of the fifteen stands are open for use by business jet aircraft. It has been requested that airlines maintain their support for the timely management of slots and increased resources in order to improve the overall passenger experience.
If there is more demand for night parking than there are stands available for standard parking, SVPI Airport has prepared a SOP for non-standard aircraft parking. In an effort to be proactive, Ahmedabad Airport has worked with nearby airports to arrange for nighttime parking for visiting aircraft in the event that demand warrants it.SVPI airport has also accepted requests from commercial airlines to operate additional flights to metro cities to serve the maximum number of passengers intended to travel during the ODI World Cup final match.
