MUMBAI: New documents accessed by the iTV Network have revealed that the registered address for Sushant Singh Rajput’s companies belongs to a flat in Ulwe owned by Rhea Chakraborty’s father.

The Ulwe flat had been registered in the name of Indrajit Chakraborty long before it was used as the company address by Sushant, Rhea and her brother, Showik. The associated companies are Vividrage RhealityX Private Limited and Front India For World Foundation, which were registered in 2019 and 2020. While the former names all three as directors, the latter has only Sushant and Showik as directors. Both companies share the same address.

The flat had been bought by Rhea’s father on 3 October 2011. He had paid a stamp duty of Rs 3 lakh for the registering the flat, and a total of Rs 53 lakh to purchase it. According to information, the ready-reckoner rate for the flat stood at Rs 19.51 lakh in 2011.

The Ulwe flat is located in a building named Sai Fortune and bears the number 503. It measures 757 sq ft and is on the fifth floor of the complex’s A Wing.

The Daily Guardian also accessed Rhea Chakraborty’s income tax returns for the financial years of 2017-18 and 2018-19. According to the ITR filed, Rhea showed an earning of Rs 18,75,000 in FY 2017-18 and Rs 18,23,000 in FY 2018-19. It also showed an increase in her total fixed assets, from Rs 96,281 to Rs 9,05,597, and an increase in shareholder funds from Rs 34,05,727 to Rs 42,06,338. It also stated that she holds term deposits in HDFC and ICICI banks. However, the ITR for the two financial years reported no large transactions made by Chakraborty.
