A ground-level survey of the Bijnaur Parliamentary constituency was conducted by India News to analyse the performance of Malook Nagar, the Member of Parliament from Bijnaur, and gather voters’ feedback about him.
Malook Nagar, an Indian politician, secured a seat in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India’s Parliament, representing Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh, in the 2019 general elections as a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).
Bijnaur, with roots in Vidur’s land from the Mahabharata era, birthed renowned poet Noor Bijnaur. Even mentors to Maharani Victoria, like Nawab Shahmat Ali, hailed from here. Its landmarks—Kanva Ashram, Parsvanath’s fort, Mayur Dhwaj Fort, and Hanuman Dham—shine in its rich history.
Bijnaur Lok Sabha seat has seen Congress win five times, BJP four, RLD and BSP twice, and Samajwadi Party once. With 16 lakh voters, development discussions occur year-round, but during elections, religious divisions often sway votes. All parties vie for victory, yet varying measures of progress leave bijnaur longing for sustained development.
The economic structure of the Bijnaur Lok Sabha is based on agriculture. Finding solutions to farmers’ problems hasn’t been the focus for any MP here. During elections, parties are solely engaged in obtaining votes based on religious and caste grounds, while the public has been facing many issues for years.
Bijnaur Lok Sabha constituents express dissatisfaction with MP Malook Nagar’s less visible work on development, rating him 7/10. Despite a leaning towards NDA and praise for Modi government schemes, ground-level feedback stands at 46%, signaling a gap between expectations and delivery.
In an extensive survey conducted by India News, probing into the performance of MP Malook Nagar in the Bijnaur Lok Sabha constituency, distressing results have come to light.
The comprehensive assessment encompassed various aspects, including ground performance, social media presence, and parliamentary contributions.
The survey indicated a lackluster representation by MP Malook Nagar, receiving a dismal rating across multiple parameters. The ground performance, evaluated at 1 out of 10, scored a mere 0.15, reflecting only 15% approval from constituents. Similarly, the social media score amounted to just 0.33 out of 1, showcasing a paltry 33% approval rate online.
Despite a relatively better parliamentary performance, with a score of 0.74 out of 1, the overall assessment culminated in an unsatisfactory 4.44 out of 10. This compiled report card paints a troubling picture, earning the MP a failing grade with a meager 44% approval from the public in the Bijnaur Lok Sabha constituency.
The survey engaged a diverse cross-section of Bijnaur’s populace, encompassing women, men, farmers, laborers, students, businessmen, and individuals from various religious and caste backgrounds.
Despite this broad outreach, the consensus remains that MP Malook Nagar has failed to meet the expectations of the people, reflecting a disappointing report card for the bijnaur Lok Sabha representative.
