BJP now holds this seat, and currently, Chandrasen Jadon from BJP is the Member of Parliament from here.
Over the years, the Socialist Party, followed by Congress and later the Samajwadi Party, wielded influence. Presently, the BJP holds significant sway over this constituency, housing approximately 1.8 million voters. Despite this, development appears unequal across various areas, highlighting the pressing need for rural advancement.

The ground performance assessment is at 2, where the MP scores only 0.62, which is quite low, amounting to just 31%. Most people believe that the MP’s work is average. On the question of giving the MP another chance, more people seem indecisive. Many raise questions about the MP’s work. However, the Modi factor is more critical than the MP factor for the people here. But even the Modi factor doesn’t hold much significance for the locals.
