Ticking all the boxes of the new normal, several Bollywood stars have resumed filming and can’t be more delighted about being back on the set after a long hiatus. From sharing snippets of ‘life on a set’ to the dubbing experience and crew in PPE suits, resuming work amid the coronavirus crisis might not have been an easy decision for them. But one has to start at some point as coronavirus can’t pause filmmaking for long as a lot is at stake.

The film industry is struggling to get back on its feet ever since the lockdown has been lifted. Initially, there was a restriction that barred actors, actresses and crew aged over 65 to resume shoots. But later a
Mumbai court overturned this ban. This allowed veteran actors such as Amitabh Bachchan to start filming.

The ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ star, who is shooting for the twelfth season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, described the environment as “a sea of limited blue on set”. Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vidya Balan, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Anu- pam Kher among others have been seen resuming work while adhering to the new normal. More actors step- ping out for shoots will surely help the film business to gradually return to normalcy as well as help reaffirm the fact that the sets are indeed a safe place to be.

Randeep Hooda has resumed working for the much-awaited film ‘Radhe’, starring Salman Khan and feels grateful. Randeep on Wednesday tweeted, “Grateful to be back at work #Radhe,” along with his photo in which the actor is being seen standing behind a microphone. It seems like the ‘Sarbjit’ actor is at a dubbing session.

Preity Zinta recently posted a video on Instagram, where a makeup artist, seen wearing a mask on her face, is doing her eye makeup. “It’s relieving and fun to get back to work after staying home for six months — it’s also scary to be out there without a mask on your face all the time. So many mixed emotions — fear, excitement and nervousness all rolled into one. Makes one appreciate a breath of fresh air and all simple things we took for granted in the past,” shared Preity.

Sonakshi Sinha stepped out for a photoshoot recently. Sharing her experience the actress said, “I did one photoshoot and it was so strange being around people who are covered up head to toe and you are the only one open. You are like ‘keep your hands to yourself and don’t touch your face’, sanitise every five minutes. It’s really weird.”

Whereas Saif Ali Khan is putting a spin on working in the Covid-19 times, as he dubs at home for his upcoming web-series ‘Tandav’. It’s a wise call as Kareena is expecting a second child with Saif. Director Ali Abbas Zafar shared a work moment with the actor on Instagram with the caption, “Dubbing in the time of Covid-19 #SaifAliKhan with Sound Designer #Dilipsubramanium, the new way of working.” In the images shared by the director, the ‘Sacred Games’ actor is seen discussing a dialogue sheet as the Sound Designer, donning PPE suit, is holding the mic.
