Actress Alia Bhatt and her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at a Mumbai airport on Tuesday as they prepared to board a flight to Delhi to attend the 69th National Film Awards later in the day.
Alia will be given the Best Actress National Film Award for her work in the movie “Gangubai Kathiawadi.” Today in Vigyan Bhawan in the nation’s capital is the 69th National Film Awards felicitation ceremony.
Alia was captured at the airport wearing a white salwar suit and a bun, while Ranbir was seen sporting a black sweatshirt.
Alongside with Kriti Sanon, who won in the same category for her work in the movie “Mimi,” Alia shared the Best Actor prize.
The story of “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, centers on a young woman who is sold into prostitution by a suitor and how she rises to fame in the underworld and Kamathipua red-light district.
Alia won the Best Actress Award at the IIFA and Filmfare Awards in 2023 thanks to her outstanding performance in the movie. ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ director Sanjay Leela Bhansali also won the National Award for Best Editing.
Kriti Sanon who arrived in Delhi on Monday for the National Film Awards felicitation ceremony was spotted by shutterbugs at Delhi Airport. She was seen sporting a red hoodie, and blue straight-fit jeans, keeping the look uber cool and casual.
