Yuvraj Singh vs. Tino Best: Fiery Clash in the Middle

In the middle of the high-intensity pursuit, there was a fiery exchange between former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh and former Caribbean seamer Tino Best that made everyone sit up and take notice. India Masters Dominate the Grand Finale

The eagerly awaited last match was an epic encounter. In front of a packed audience, India Masters showcased a flawless all-round performance to overwhelm their West Indian rivals. West Indies Masters, electing to bat first, found it difficult in front of India’s miserly bowling lineup and mustered only a humble 148/7.

India Masters pursued the target of 149 in style, as a scintillating first-wicket stand worth 67 runs between Ambati Rayudu (74) and Tendulkar (25) set India Masters up for victory. The two orchestrated the run chase, with some vintage strokeplay thrilling the audience. While Sachin Tendulkar showed his class with cover drives and flicks, Rayudu went on a rampage, demolishing the bowling attack of the opposition.

Rayudu’s Fireworks Lead the Charge

Rayudu kept going with his attack, scoring his fifty in 34 balls. His 50-ball 74, studded with nine boundaries and three huge sixes, left India Masters firmly in charge. His second-wicket stand with Gurkeerat Singh Mann (14) contributed another 28 runs before Mann was caught by Ashley Nurse.

With Yuvraj Singh (13*) coming in to chase, India Masters were on track despite Rayudu falling to left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn and Yusuf Pathan to Nurse. But Stuart Binny (16*) saw there were no surprises, finishing off the game in style with two massive sixes.

India Masters’ Bowlers Set Up the Win

India’s bowlers, who had called the shots earlier, again dominated the proceedings. Vinay Kumar (3/26) was the bowlers’ pick, supported by Shahbaz Nadeem (2 wickets), Pawan Negi, and Binny with crucial breakthroughs. Lendl Simmons tried to resist for West Indies, scoring 57 from just 41 balls, but it was too little too late to put up a formidable total.

With this decisive victory, India Masters not only conquered the IML 2025 trophy but rekindled worldwide nostalgia among cricket enthusiasts, taking them back to the golden periods of some of the sport’s all-time legendary greats.
