Virat Kohli’s childhood coach slams critics of star batter’s IPL strike rate

Former RCB skipper and modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma didn’t come easy while hitting back at the critics of the star batter’s strike rate. Notably, some of the experts and former cricketers have spoken critically about this century, Kohli scored in RCB’s last game against the Rajasthan Royals. The list of these Kohli critics also includes some senior cricket journalists from renowned media houses.
However, their criticism and thoughts about Virat Kohli didn’t go down well with the latter’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma; he came up with a blasting statement while discussing this concern with the ‘Indian Sports Fans’ founder Sunil Yash Kalra in a live TV show of India News, Cricit Predicta powered by 1xBAT.

“A few people who are talking this nonsense, I think they don’t know the context of the match, what was the situation of the match and how the team was struggling. They only speak to get into the news; simply because whenever you speak about any ordinary player, it doesn’t get you placed in the news headlines but if you speak about a player like Virat Kohli, it gets you in the headlines of the newspapers,” said Sharma in response to Sunil Yash Kalra’s question about Kohli’s strike rate critics.

Furthermore, ISF founder Kalra also asked Sharma about the identity of these critics who are questioning the former Indian skipper for his strike rate in the IPL. While responding to this question, Rajkumar Sharma brutally called it a ‘lobby’ working on an agenda against the RCB batting stalwart.

“See, it is a lobby that is running an agenda; they are just driving an agenda, and we as the fans or true analysts don’t give a damn about their agenda. See, the King will always be king. The person who knows even the ‘C’ of cricket will never talk any nonsense like this,” Sharma concluded.
