Suryakumar Yadav and Harmanpreet Kaur have added another feather to their outstanding careers by bagging the Wisden Almanack’s leading cricketers in the world awards.
Suryakumar Yadav likes to smash the ball over the boundary line most of the time, earning the title of Wisden Almanack’s leading T20I cricketer. Harmanpreet has the distinction of being the first Indian woman to get the Cricketer of the Year award for her outstanding performance in recent times.
Suryakumar was in tremendous form in the year 2022, in the shortest format of the game. Making runs and hitting fours and sixes is his habit. Wherever he went, he accumulated runs in bulk, scoring 1164 runs with an astonishing strike rate of 187.43. He smashed 68 sixes, which was breathtaking.
His two tons and nine half centuries came in the year 2022, which helped India win 28 games out of 40 in the shortest format of the game.
