Positive mindset essential for International gold triumph

Having a proper mindset is essential for achieving success in any international competition, as it allows one to navigate challenging situations effectively. A positive mindset enables individuals to overcome any difficult challenge. At the junior level in the sport of shooting, the competition is fierce, and a notable challenge is the absence of an international shooting range in Haryana.
While the Karni Singh Shooting Range is located on the Delhi-Haryana border, traveling there from Ambala presents significant challenges for me. Importantly, shooters residing in distant areas such as Hisar, Bhiwani, and Jind find it impractical to consider going there for practice. My recent visit to Bhopal for the National Championship exposed me to their high-level shooting range. Even shooters based in Delhi derive benefits from the Karni Singh Range. I sincerely hope that the government considers this direction, enabling shooters from Haryana to excel in this sport. If any athlete performs well, they should promptly receive their prize money. We invest a considerable amount in this sport, and after our commendable performances, we eagerly anticipate the prize money. The burden of substantial expenses is shouldered by our families. As you are aware, this sport incurs significant costs, with approximately 50 thousand rupees spent every month.
With dedicated effort and support from my coach, Mr. Abhishek, along with encouragement from my family, I am delighted to share that I recently achieved success by winning a gold medal in the 10-meter air rifle team event and a silver medal in the mixed team event at the Asian Games. Subsequently, I went to Korea to participate in the Asian Championship; unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the award function. Upon my return, I was informed that the committee had changed, and as a result, I have not yet received the prize money.
Furthermore, the heightened competition at the national level adds to the overall competitiveness of the sport. In the recent National Championship held in Bhopal, over nine thousand shooters participated in the pistol and rifle categories.
