Paris Olympics 2024: P V Sindhu Advances to Pre-Quarters; Today’s Event Schedule and Timings

Indian badminton star P V Sindhu triumphed over Estonia’s Kristin Kuuba in the women’s singles group stage match at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 31, advancing to the pre-quarterfinals. Sindhu dominated the match, winning 21-5, 21-10 in her second and final Group M match.

Earlier, on Sunday, the two-time Olympic medallist defeated Maldives’ Fathimath Abdul Razzaq 21-9, 21-6 in her first match. Sindhu, who is aiming for her third Olympic medal, secured victory in just 29 minutes against her lower-ranked opponent in the Group M match.

Sindhu has previously won a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Games and a bronze at the Tokyo Olympics.
