As Paris Olympics 2024 Officially begins today, India’s Olympic campaign will start on Saturday following the opening ceremony.
On first day, India’s participation is expected to begin with the participation of rower Balraj Panwar and shooters.
In addition, Indian men’s hockey team will start their Olympic campaign with a match against New Zealand.

Rowing– Balraj Panwar is Set to participate at Men’s single sculls at 12:30 PM IST.
Shooting- At a similar time (IST) Sandeep Singh/Elavenil Valarivan, Arjun Babuta/Ramita Jindal will take part in 10m air rifle mixed team qualification.
Then At 2 pm, Arjun Singh Cheema & Sarabjot Singh will take part in 10m air pistol men’s qualification. Then subjected to qualification, the final of 10m air mixed rifle will take place.
Later at 4 pm, Manu Bhaker & Rhythm Sangwan will participate at 10m air pistol women’s qualification.
Table Tennis & Badminton- The match of Laksya Sen will take place against Guatemala’s Kevin Cordon At 7:10 pm (Badminton). While at 7:15 pm, the match of Harmeet Desai will take place against Jordan’s Zaid Abo Yaman at men’s single preliminary round (Table Tennis).
Badminton- Then at 8 pm in men’s double group match, the match of the duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy-Chirag Shetty will be against France’s duo Lucas Corvee-Ronan Labar.
Later at 11:50 pm, the women’s doubles group match will happen, in which the duo of Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto will face Korea’s Kim So Yeong & Kong Hee Yong.
Hockey- At 9 pm, the match of India vs New Zealand will happen at Men’s Pool B match.
Boxing- At 12:02 pm, the women’s 54kg Round 32 will take place, where Preeti Pawar will face Vietnam’s Thi Kim Anh Vo.
